We, Korean Catholic Student Association (KCSA) at St. Thomas Aquinas Parish, is a home away from home for all Korean catholic students who attend Iowa State University.
Currently, we have over 60 members, including 12 married couples, 20+ single students, and a few professors and visiting scholars.
We meet every Sunday after 10:30 am Mass in the Prophets and Martyrs Room of St. Thomas Aquinas. We do plan and have many spiritual and social activities including weekly small-group bible study, annual retreat, and sharing fellowship with Minnesota Korean Catholic Community.
We have several objectives that we try to accomplish: to discuss and improve our understanding of God, to help other members grow in their faith while deepening our own, to maintain and preserve the common heritage we share, to assist incoming new students and visitors in adjusting to Ames-ISU life, and to serve as a resource and social outlet for Korean/Korean-American students and residents in Ames Community.
Our catholic faith and love unite us together here at St. Thomas.
